TCI launched its annual advocacy campaign, #WhatWENeed 2022 on October 10. TCI has been running this campaign since 2018 to challenge and correct the medical oppression against us, persons with psychosocial disabilities, and reclaim World Mental Health day and month by filling it with our voices!
As part of the campaign, we conduct spotlight interviews with our members and networks in order to highlight the works they are engaged with and put a ‘spotlight’ on their advocacy.
Under this initiative, we interviewed Silvestre Barragán, Abolición de Lógicas de Castigo y Encierro (Abolition of Punishment and Confinement Logics), Colombia on the thematic of Lived Experiences of Persons with Neurodiverse and Intersectional Identities.
